Creating a joyful organization isn’t about piling more tasks onto your list. It’s about shifting perspective — noticing what’s already alive in your community, and aligning strategy with the art of human connection. When leaders weave together both the art and the strategy, joy naturally spreads and strengthens the whole organization.
On October 29, 2025 the Joyful Organizations Working Group explored how to create early childhood organizations that are both impactful and joy-filled. Together with special guests, Nancy Rosenow and Allen Fahden, they shared practical strategies for cultivating purpose, organizational stability, and contagious joy — so that every team member thrives in fulfilling their mission to children and families.
