On June 24, 2026 the Race Racism Equity and Diversity (RRED) Working Group of the World Forum invited us to join them in WoFo Global Café.
We engaged in a thought provoking conversation based on the 2026 World Forum plenary presentation by Duane Dennis, “Global News on Race and Racism: Responding as Early Childhood Leaders for and with Our Youngest Citizens.” Duane repeated for some and introduced to others his research and reflections regarding race and racism throughout the world and how we as ECD professionals can combat a current trend of racial intolerance, conservatism and discrimination. Café participants had the opportunity to reflect on the presentation as well as discuss the situation in their respective countries and regions.
This is a continuation of the ongoing work of RRED aimed at developing a more just world, especially for our children and their families. Your voice matters.
