World Forum Friend Honored on a Postage Stamp
Michael Kelly, Ireland

The Republic of Ireland issued a series of stamps honoring the contributions of Irish emigrants around the world. One of the honorees, featured on the stamp shown here, is Michael Kelly who is acclaimed for his work in Africa as a priest and an HIV/AIDS worker and advocate.  Within the World Forum community, Kelly is cherished for his moving keynote presentations at the 2005 World Forum in Montreal, Canada and the 2011 World Forum in Honolulu, USA; for his support of the HIV/AIDS Action Tank; and for his ongoing concern for underserved children and families everywhere.
