Let’s Talk: Designing Spaces for Young Children who are Currently Refugees

Join Monika Rościszewska Woźniak from SPYNKA, Mike Lindstrom with the team from Ashley McGraw Architects, and others on April 23 at 11:00 AM New York City/EDT Time for a conversation about innovative approaches to delivering early childhood education (ECE) services for refugees.

SPYNKA and Ashley McGraw Architects have collaborated on a pilot project for a mobile child care center designed specifically for Ukrainian refugees. This initiative integrates culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices with thoughtful, purpose-driven design.  We will be eager to learn from your experiences, ideas and stories. Come prepared to listen and to share.

People who commit their lives to young children and their families have powerful stories to tell and we can find our own hope and inspiration as we listen.  WoFo Global Café is the space where people gather to share their stories.  Stop by for tea and find affirmation and companionship.
