Technology in Early Childhood Care and Education: The Conversations Continue

At the 2026 World Forum on Early Care and Education in Kuala Lumpur, many of us had the opportunity to participate in meaningful conversations and presentations about the role of technology in early childhood care and education. These sessions opened important questions about how artificial intelligence, digital tools, and emerging technologies are already influencing our work with children, families, educators, and communities. On May 13, 2026, we gathered in WoFo Global Café to continue this conversation. We also explored several case studies of how AI and other technologies are being used in different areas of early childhood care and education. These examples gave us a chance to consider the opportunities, challenges, and ethical responsibilities that come with using technology in our field.

People who commit their lives to young children and their families have powerful stories to tell and we can find our own hope and inspiration as we listen.  WoFo Global Café is the space where people gather to share their stories.  Stop by for tea and find affirmation and companionship.
