Authentic Connections Can Create
Pathways Out of Trauma
Holly Elissa Bruno, United States

World Forum Advoacate, Holly Elissa Bruno had so much to share with us in Macao, China at the 2019 World Forum on Early Care and Education. After sitting down with Holly, we left feeling deeply touched and encouraged by her immense passion for Early Childhood Education. Holly came into the Early Childhood Education field from a profession as an attorney. She quickly learned that her heart belonged elsewhere as she expressed, “Touch the life of a child and change the world.” Holly’s passion lies with seeing each child, encouraging each child to develop, and being equally passionate about the adults in children’s lives. Check out the video below to learn more about Holly Elissa Bruno’s take on growing through our hidden personal struggles and the beauty that comes with claiming your own life.

I totally agree! We all have incredible strengths and gifts inside us. Holly, I really enjoyed listening to this. I am also deeply passionate about seeing the child, listening carefully to them and nurturing who they truely are.

People who commit their lives to young children and their families have powerful stories to tell and we can find our own hope and inspiration as we listen.  WoFo Global Café is the space where people gather to share their stories.  Stop by for tea and find affirmation and companionship.
